Expert spine surgery, second opinions, and minimally invasive solutions β right here on Long Island. Board-certified neurosurgeon with 20+ years of experience and fellowship training from Yale & Hospital for Special Surgery.
Not every spine surgeon is the same. Dr. Brian McHugh brings fellowship-trained subspecialty expertise to every case β the kind of advanced care that makes the difference between an average outcome and a life-changing one.
When your spine condition demands more than a generalist, you deserve a neurosurgeon with the experience and credentials to match.
Multi-level pathology, failed prior interventions, and conditions requiring advanced surgical planning benefit from the subspecialty expertise Dr. McHugh brings to every case.
When a prior spine surgery hasn't delivered lasting relief, or symptoms have returned, Dr. McHugh specializes in complex revision procedures to address what went wrong.
Before committing to any spine surgery, an independent expert opinion from a board-certified neurosurgeon can change the outcome and the plan entirely.
Motion-sparing solutions and deformity correction β techniques Dr. McHugh has specialized in throughout his career that aren't available at every center.
No assembly-line consultations. Dr. McHugh reviews your case personally and builds a plan around you, not a protocol.
